Welcome to Ortho Bootcamp

Recent studies have made it clear: away rotations are the single most important factor in matching into orthopaedic surgery. In fact, the majority of successful applicants match at programs where they completed a rotation.

But excelling on these rotations isn’t just about hard work and being a good team player — it’s about being clinically sharp, confident under pressure, and ready for the rigorous pimping culture that ortho is known for.

Unfortunately, most med schools provide limited exposure to musculoskeletal surgery, leaving students to figure it out on their own when it comes to what they’ll be asked — and what they’ll be expected to know.

That’s where this bootcamp comes in.

Created by two orthopaedic chief residents, Dr. Brandon Klein and Dr. Lucas Bartlett, this bootcamp was built to give you a clear roadmap and the high-yield knowledge you need to stand out on your Sub-I — and increase your odds of a successful match.
